Standard Schlage #5 Bottom Pin

Schlage #5 bottom pin. This pin has no serrations or other special security features, except that, unlike many aftermarket pins, it is not color-coded for its size. (Coloring pins is convenient for sorting them after they spill out of their tray but introduces a security vulnerability; locks with such pins can often be decoded just by looking into the keyway with a brightly lit scope and noting the colors). This is a number 5 (.240 inch) bottom pin. Image taken with a Nikon D-100 digital camera with the 85mm f/2.8 macro PC shift/tilt lens, attached to a PB-6 bellows and tripod mount.
